Learn English as a second language
Are you a new English speaker having difficulty with certain English consonant and vowel sounds? Have you been speaking English for a while but notice that you are often asked to repeat what you’re saying? Most native English speakers enjoy listening to speakers who have accents, unless the accent prevents the native English speaker from understanding the words of the speaker.
ESL by Design has several tools that will help you reduce your accent and be more easily understood.
There are many parts to speaking correctly: the shape of your mouth when you form a sound, the position of your tongue and teeth, being able to hear the sound accurately in order to repeat it, and most importantly understanding stress and how to place stress on correct syllables and words – these are just a few of the things we work on in our class to help your English speaking improve.
ESL by Design’s classes are small. Our teachers are caring and helpful which makes practicing pronunciation fun.
